Both Evisc and D-chop trigger Deep Wound. However, with Eviscerate the deep wound comes on the first hit, while D-chop has to be used after Executioners.

Given monk reaction time, it's often possible to get in two hits, but not three. Thus, D-chop is more likely to not trigger the Deep Wound damage before monk help arrives.

It's probably not significant in most adreno-spike builds though. The Crushing Blow should hit just after the D-chop anyway. It's only unattractive if you're not spiking with another warrior. If you're not spiking with another warrior you're probably pressuring, in which case you should be using Eviscerate anyway.

The vamp lifesteal is the first thing that hits. So no, it wouldn't trigger after the deep wound.

Something we tested in the preview weekend was to actually use Destructive Chop as a 1-man spike, kinda like Assassins do.

What we used was Burst of Aggression-Executioner's Strike-Prot Strike-Critical Chop-Destructive Chop. It usually took 1 hit after that to kill a softie from full, and the full spike came quite fast overall (about the time of 2.5-3 hits in IAS). The build is fully aimed at spiking, and what you do in between is charge energy/adrenal using a zealous axe on auto-attack. Not as much pressure as Evis/Exec out of spiking definitely.

For adrenal spiking, i believe Evis-Exec is stronger too because of what you can do in between. But Destructive Chop can offer an interesting option too by turning you into a 1 man spiker. Time your own solo spike with say 2 other warriors doing an adrenal spike, and it can become really hard for monks to react to both (we did something similar often with a Flourish Assassin and it works really well). Energy/Adrenaline gain can be helped by Paragon too to speed up your spike recharge. Hard to say how this will go without actually playing it for more than a game, but it has its own potential, it's not just a clear >=< Evis
